Apple describes  Passbook as follows: "With Passbook on your iPhone, you can access your tickets to check-in for flights, go to the movies, or use discount coupons at the checkout. Pass-tickets contain information such as the remaining credit on a fidelity card, the expiration date of a discount voucher, the seating number for a concert, and so on..."

How to store your ticket on Passbok? 

• Through specific websites created for Passbook, where you will find the button "Add to Passbook"
• By email (it will open directly from your smartphone)
• Through other dedicated apps. 

Attractive uses the e-mail method. Once an e-ticket is purchased, users can access both the printable PDF, and the Passbook format to be added to the Passbook app. 

The ticket contains all the information concerning the event, and it's geo-localized. Amongst its functions, it allows the user to be notified prior to the date of the event.

Passbook has also been made compatible with all Androids smartphones, provided you download an app called PassWallet, which you can find in GooglePlay.
